About the Role

TAY Recruitment is seeking an experienced Team Leader for our client, a leading provider of telecom rooftop installations. You will manage the delivery of rooftop 5G sites and other telecom projects.

Please note:

this role requires travel approximately 75% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee and deliver telecom rooftop site projects to specification and schedule.

* Interpret and work from technical drawings.

* Manage a site team of 2–4 operatives.

* Liaise with Project Management and Stores teams to ensure smooth operations.

* Identify and propose solutions to on-site issues.

* Drive performance to meet project timelines.

* Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and CDM regulations.

* Maintain accurate daily and weekly site documentation.

* Monitor and control site costs effectively.

* Motivate and lead the team to achieve project goals.

Required Knowledge & Skills

Experience or understanding of:

Roofing, concrete, and structural steelwork

Handrailing, access ladders, and walkways

Core drilling and lightning protection

Cable management systems and builders’ work

Safe-to-climb systems

Mandatory Training (Provided if not already held)

Rooftop Worker Certification

Radio Frequency Hazard Awareness

First Aid

Abrasive Wheels

Ladder Safety & Rescue

Manual Handling

Asbestos Awareness

PICW Training

SSSTS or SMSTS

Desirable Additional Training:

COSHH, PUWER, LOLER, CDM

Electrical & Environmental Awareness

Working at Height, PASMA

Specialist Training Opportunities
