The Company

Freight Force Recruitment are working in partnership with an independent and very well-established road haulage company operating a team of highly qualified existing drivers and a fleet of modern vehicles. Our client are experts in pallet distribution with over 30 years of experience delivering advanced and dependable logistics solutions to our wide range of quality customers. The company are well equipped to meet even the most demanding deadlines locally and nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collections of palletised goods roughly 4-5 collections per day

• Dropping and swapping trailers locally

• Supervision of offloading and unloading

• Maintaining and conducting basic checks of your vehicle

• Logging delivery information correctly

• Having a strong awareness of the UK highway code

• Keeping vigilant of correct delivery times

• Planning driver breaks for safety purposes during long-distance hauls

• Staying aware of any route diversions or updates to their delivery journey

Applicants will be required to carry out a basic driving assessment alongside their interview.
