Class 2 Driver

Job Title: Class 2 Driver (Tote deliveries – moving the totes to the back of the trailer, store staff unload from there)

Location: Rochdale

Pay Rates: £16.16 to £19.29 p/h

Shifts: 4 on 4 off – AM starts (02:00 – 06:00)

Experience: Minimum 12 months on Class 2 essential

• Secure site parking or bicycle storage
• Full site induction
• Regular, ongoing shifts

• Safely operate Class 2 vehicles on planned routes
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries to stores
• 4 to 8 drops per day
• Tote deliveries: move totes to the rear of the truck only – store staff unload from there
• Follow all driving laws and company procedures
• Represent the company professionally at client sites

You must have your Class 2 Driving Licence and at least 12 months experience driving commercially. You must also have your UK DCPC card and a valid Digi‑tacho card. Our client may accept up to 6 points on your licence, but we cannot accept DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.

As a professional driver, you should be up to date with the WTD regulations and maintain your own compliance requirements.

You must be a UK resident (we are unable to assist people with visas or relocation) and have the relevant right-to-work documentation.
