Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal

Crown House Vets, Rochdale, Rochdale, North West Salary up to £65,000 DOE plus £2,000 Welcome Bonus

At Crown House Vets we are small animal practice with 2 branches. We are based in Rochdale and Shaw, Oldham. The main branch is located in Rochdale with direct public transport links to Manchester city centre.

We are looking for an experienced veterinary surgeon to join our friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis. The role is 34 hours a week, we have fixed days/ shifts each week, with a 1:3 Saturday morning clinic.

The practice is 100% small animal with a steady case-load. The role is ideal for a clinician who has experience with sole charge and is confident with routine surgeries and medical cases.

• Salary up to £65,000, depending on experience
• No out-of-hours or Bank holiday work
• 1 in 3 Saturday mornings (8:30 am – 12:00 pm, consultations only)
• Protected admin time, support with CPD/Certificates.

Our team currently consists of 2 experienced vets and 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), who have taken a hands‑on role, running their own clinics. We truly value nurse‑led initiatives and the integral role our RVNs play in patient care.

You will be further supported by our Practice Director and experienced reception team.
