Medical Laboratory Technician weekends

Salary

$10,000-$15,000 Sign ON BONUS. Bonus amount with a 2 year signed commitment (US citizen eligibility). Must be available to cover evening and midnight shifts when needed.

Primary responsibility is to perform careful and accurate scientific work using a variety of manual and automated procedures, while consistently maintaining compliance with all current regulatory agencies. The performance of EKG's, arterial, capillary and venipuncture phlebotomy is required. Accurate problem solving and judgement in high‑pressure situations is required. Providing good customer service to patients, families, visitors, and physicians is also required.

• Associate of Science in Medical Laboratory Technician

• Certified by a nationally recognized credentialing agency for Medical Laboratory Technician, MLT (ASCP) or MLT (AMT)

• None required, must pass Certification exam within 1 year of hire.

The employee is subject to hazards: chemical hygiene plan and blood borne pathogen guidelines are in place for employee safety. The employee is subject to atmospheric conditions of controlled lab environment.
