As a Security Officer - Financial Institution Patrol in Rochelle, IL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service to employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and respond to situations with professionalism.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including business areas and the perimeter, to help to deter activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel and/or management.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and/or observations as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Support access control measures by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain order.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, and/or law enforcement as necessary to address security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
