Advocates of guest experience who welcome, thank, and exceed guest service expectations by focusing on guest interaction, loyalty enrollment and store cleanliness. Advocates of both in-store and digital services and solutions who are knowledgeable about capabilities and features that drive adoption, usage and ultimately guest loyalty. Empowered to make shopping quick and easy for guests at the checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up and drive up while ensuring exceptional quality.

• Communicating and interacting with guests to build a welcoming guest experience
• Blending problem solving and decision making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve guest concerns
• Adapting to different guest interactions and situations
• Promoting and engaging around various benefits, offerings and services

• Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest service experience by delivering the service standard
• Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests while completing daily tasks
• Engage with guests to help solve specific needs
• Make the guest aware of current promotions, store activities and events
• Be knowledgeable about tools, products, and services available in the total store to solve issues and improve the guest experience
• Thank guests and acknowledge their choice to shop at Target
• Know and speak to the benefits of Target Loyalty programs and assist with application or sign-up as needed
• Scan and bag items efficiently, accurately and in compliance with safety standards
• Minimize guest wait time while maintaining service and accuracy
• Explain and demonstrate Target App features including Wallet
• Understand Order Pick-Up, Drive Up and online ordering; assist with enrollment and usage
• Handle returns by following policies and escalate with leadership as needed
• Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area and stock supplies during store hours
• Demonstrate ethical conduct, safety and compliance; work safely and report hazards
• Support guest services such as order pick up, Drive-Up orders and related duties with compliance with relevant laws
• All other duties based on business needs

• Open to a flexible schedule with varying hours, days or shifts (including nights, weekends, holidays and peak times)

• Willingness to educate guests about products and services
• Ability to use handheld scanners and other technology; operate across multiple devices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks

• Accurately handle checkout operations and support cash office tasks as needed
• Scan, handle and move merchandise safely; typical lifting up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting up to 44 pounds without assistance
• Flexible work schedule (nights, weekends and holidays); reliable attendance
• Must be mobile for the duration of a shift
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions for duties such as Drive-Up or carryout
