Summary:
The Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences invites applicants for the positions of Lecturer and Special Lecturer to instruct courses in graduate level courses in the Interdisciplinary Healthcare Systems master’s program. This master's program trains students to meet competencies for healthcare practice:
Patient-centered care, Interdisciplinary teamwork, Evidence-based practice, Quality improvement, Informatics, Social determinants of health. Courses cover topics including inter-professional teams and decision making; healthcare ethics; contemporary issues in healthcare; evidence-based decision making; and practicum and capstone courses.
This posting is to create a pool of interested applicants from which the Department may draw as sections become open at any point in an academic year. This posting may or may not result in the hiring of an applicant. Pre-employment screening includes verification of academic credentials and background check.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree, but a doctorate degree is preferred, in a discipline relevant to the course(s) taught. Preference for candidates with experience as a clinician, health care provider, or health care administration.
