Oakland University invites applications for the position of (Special) Lecturer of Italian Language and Culture. We seek a dynamic and committed educator to teach undergraduate in Italian language (elementary through advanced levels) and Italian culture, including literature, film, history, and contemporary issues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for student‑centered teaching and demonstrate a commitment to inclusive and intercultural pedagogies.
Minimum Qualifications- Master’s degree or higher in Italian, Italian Studies, Romance Languages, or a closely related field.
- Native or near‑native proficiency in Italian and English.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Italian at the university or secondary level.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
