Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Valve Design Engineer – Automotive Industry in [Location]. Our client is a leading automotive supplier specializing in advanced engine and fluid control systems for global OEMs. The Valve Design Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and validating automotive valve components and systems to meet performance, safety, and durability standards.

Responsibilities of a Valve Design Engineer includes:

• Design and develop hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic valves for automotive applications.
• Conduct FEA, CFD, and other engineering analyses to ensure valve performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and testing to bring designs from concept to production.
• Create 3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications using software such as CATIA, Solid Works, or NX.
• Perform prototype testing, troubleshoot design issues, and implement design improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support production launches and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Requirements of a Valve Design Engineer:

• Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, mechanical design, and automotive valve systems.
• Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, Solid Works, NX, or similar).
• Experience with design validation, prototyping, and testing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical standards.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

REQUIRED Experience and

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in automotive or industrial valve design.
• Familiarity with FEA, CFD, and other engineering simulation tools preferred.
• Previous experience in engine control systems or fluid management systems is a plus.
