• Under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, assist in the stocking and storage of inventory.
• Assist in the filing of prescription records.
• Operate the POS system where applicable.
• Deliver completed prescription orders to patients in the various clinics and/or hospital at their location.
• Assist in the shipping of packages to patient’s home or office.
• Report to the pharmacist on duty.
• Assists where allowed by law in the processing of the pharmacy order.
• Put away medications on the shelves as needed in their appropriate locations.
• Mark with a bold X all opened drug bottles.
• Straighten and inventory all over the counter medications.
• In the ambulatory setting, operate the POS system. Ring up patients at the pharmacy. Create delivery slips for subsequent delivery to a clinic or a patient. Collect payments when possible. Create A/R accounts for patients when needed.
• Prepare labels for courier pick-ups as needed.
• Monitor for address changes for package shipping and customer requests for different delivery sites.
• Organizes numerically the filing of prescriptions to be kept for ten years.

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent or currently be attending high school at senior level status with authorization to work.
• Ability to maintain (lift, carry, stack) up to 40 lbs. of pharmacy inventory.
• Ability to work effectively with others.
