Positionoverview
Zarminali Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Pediatric Mental Health Therapist to join our inaugural team in Rochester Hills, Michigan
. You will advance pediatric behavioral health within our integrative primary care model, working with pediatricians and families to provide compassionate, coordinated care that supports each child’s path to a healthy future.
- Clinical Assessment & Care:
Deliver clinical behavioral health care through comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning tailored to each child’s needs, while considering family dynamics. - Growth & Emotional Wellbeing:
Support children’s emotional growth and resilience by monitoring behavioral and developmental milestones, identifying early signs of concern, and implementing evidence-based interventions that promote wellbeing. - Family Engagement &
Education:
Collaborate with families to reinforce understanding of behavioral health conditions, align care strategies, and promote effective caregiver engagement in the child’s treatment and development. - Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation in line with ethical, regulatory, and organizational standards to ensure quality and continuity of care. - Collaboration:
Work as part of an integrated primary care team to deliver coordinated, evidence-based care that integrates behavioral health for comprehensive patient wellbeing.

Values family perspectives and provides guidance grounded in empathy, evidence, and partnership to help children thrive.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited program
- Current and unrestricted license to practice as an LPC, LCSW or LMFT in Michigan
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of post-licensure experience providing therapy, assessment, or behavioral health services in a pediatric, family, or integrated care setting
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative, team-based environment that values integration between behavioral and physical health
- Proven ability to assess and treat a range of pediatric conditions, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, behavioral challenges, trauma, and adjustment concerns
