JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Maintenance Supervisor/Manager in Rochester Hills, MI. Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in metal stamping and production solutions. The Maintenance Supervisor/Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance operations, leading a team of technicians, minimizing downtime, and ensuring all equipment and systems operate safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities of a Maintenance Supervisor/Manager include:

• Lead and coordinate all daily maintenance activities (preventative, corrective, and predictive)

• Supervise maintenance staff and delegate tasks to ensure timely and safe repairs

• Schedule and oversee equipment repairs, rebuilds, and upgrades

• Monitor equipment performance and downtime metrics; recommend and implement improvements

• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards

• Work with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement initiatives

• Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets

• Coordinate with outside contractors and vendors when necessary

Job Requirements of a Maintenance Supervisor/Manager:

• Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Experience working in a metal stamping or manufacturing environment

• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and work orders

• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

REQUIRED Experience and Education:

• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role

• Experience with CMMS systems preferred

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
