Group Fitness Instructor:
As a Group Fitness Instructor he/she is responsible for providing group fitness instruction while monitoring and educating members on fitness and safety in an enjoyable atmosphere.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:- Teaches scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time.
- Provides adequate warm-up, class content, stretching, and cool down.
- Instructs class participants on effective workout methods, using and demonstrating proper technique.
- Prepares appropriate equipment and music for each class.
- Maintains a positive experience for members and class participants.
- Assists club management in promotion of smoothies, new products and promotions.
- Works on maintaining and building classes. If class is empty work to pull members in to class
- Current Group Fitness certification
- Current certification
- CPR/AED certification
- Ability to motivate members towards participating in group fitness classes
- Strong desire to help others reach their health and fitness goals
- Completes Retro University requirements
