The school provides a calm, structured and nurturing environment where children with SEND can build confidence, independence and essential learning skills.

The school is looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This role involves supporting pupils with a range of additional needs across the school, working both 1:1 and with small groups, and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

• Providing 1:1 and small-group support to children with SEND
• Supporting pupils with Autism, speech and language needs, learning difficulties, or SEMH needs
• Assisting teachers in delivering adapted and differentiated learning activities
• Encouraging pupils' emotional regulation, communication and social development
• Supporting behaviour in a calm, consistent and therapeutic manner
• Helping to implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
• Liaising with the class teacher, SENCO and parents when required
• Contributing to a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting sensory needs, movement breaks and individual interventions
• Ensuring safeguarding and school policies are followed at all times

• Experience working with children with SEND (school, nursery or care settings)
• Confidence supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Patience, resilience and a nurturing personality
• Good behaviour management and strong communication skills
• Experience with ASD, ADHD, SEMH or learning difficulties (desirable)
