Head of Department - ScienceLeigh Academy Hundred of Hoo is seeking a dynamic and forward‑thinking Head of Department - Science to join our thriving all‑through academy from September 2026.

As Head of Department, you will drive excellence in teaching and learning across Key Stages 3-5, inspire a team of committed practitioners, and ensure our curriculum is ambitious, coherent and grounded in strong subject expertise.
Within our unique all‑through setting, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate across phases, helping to strengthen science provision from primary through to secondary and creating a truly seamless learning journey for our pupils.
