Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive Primary School in the Strood area that is seeking to appoint a Primary Teacher with SEND experience. The school is committed to providing a nurturing learning environment where every child is supported to succeed academically, socially and emotionally.

The school is looking to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis from September. The successful Primary Teacher will be working predominantly within Key Stage 1, supporting pupils with a range of additional needs including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language difficulties and SEMH needs. The role will require strong classroom management, adaptability and a child-centred approach to learning.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)

• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1

• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, including Autism, ADHD and SEMH

• Strong knowledge of the Primary Curriculum

• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills

• A nurturing and inclusive approach to teaching and learning
