Hours: 30.5 hours per week as a Teaching Assistant plus 2 hours per week as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Monday–Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm)
Contract: Permanent
Term Time Only: 39 weeks per year

Bligh Primary School is looking for a skilled and caring Teaching Assistant who can also provide Higher Level Teaching Assistant support for two hours each week. This is an exciting opportunity to join a committed team focused on helping every child thrive.
In this role, you will:
- Support learning across a range of year groups and abilities
- Deliver targeted interventions and classroom support
- Work closely with teachers to help pupils achieve their potential
- Lead learning during allocated HLTA time
- Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing and engagement
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive environment where all children feel valued
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds an NVQ Level 2 qualification (or equivalent)
- Has experience working with primary-aged children
- Is confident supporting learning across the curriculum
- Can lead groups of pupils effectively
- Is calm, flexible and proactive
- Builds positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
- Shares our commitment to inclusion and high expectations
