Teacher Active is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Medway, dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for children and young people with complex needs. The school promotes independence, celebrates individual achievements and is committed to delivering high-quality education tailored to every pupil's unique abilities.

The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a long-term basis from September. The successful SEND Teacher will be supporting children with complex needs including Autism / ASD, SEMH, ADHD and PMLD, delivering engaging lessons, providing personal care where required and supporting pupils with multiple disabilities while demonstrating a caring and empathetic approach throughout the school day.

The successful SEND Teacher will have:

• QTS

• Previous experience working as a SEND Teacher supporting children with complex additional needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD and PMLD

• Experience providing personal care and supporting pupils with multiple disabilities

• Strong classroom management and the ability to adapt teaching to individual learning needs

• A caring, patient and empathetic approach

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
