Teacher Active is working with a number of welcoming and supportive secondary schools across Medway who are looking to expand their pool of reliable Cover Teachers. These schools are committed to providing high-quality education and are seeking adaptable teachers who can confidently support pupils while maintaining a positive learning environment.

We are looking for enthusiastic Cover Teachers to work on a flexible, day-to-day basis. As a Cover Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects, ensuring students remain engaged and learning continues in the absence of the regular class teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced teachers and ECTs seeking flexible work to fit around their lifestyle.

The successful Cover Teacher will have:

QTS or relevant UK teaching qualification (ECTs are welcome to apply)
Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
Excellent classroom management skills
Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
A flexible and adaptable approach to different school environments
A positive, professional attitude and strong communication skills
