Are you passionate about caring for young children and helping them explore, learn, and grow? Leigh Academy Hundred of Hoo Nursery is looking for a motivated and experienced Early Years Assistant to join our dedicated team. We are seeking an educator who is truly committed to enhancing our provision and providing our children with excellent opportunities to learn and develop.

You will play a dynamic role working across all of our rooms, adapting your support to meet the needs of our children wherever needed. This is a high-energy age group where your ability to foster curiosity and support rapid developmental milestones will truly shine. At our nursery, you’ll join a supportive, experienced, and fun team who are dedicated to creating a safe, stimulating, and welcoming environment.

We pride ourselves on the exciting, nurturing spaces we offer our little learners, and we are looking for a candidate with a sound knowledge of how to support and extend children’s learning at every stage.

Why you’ll love working with us:
  • Work with a highly experienced nursery team who have been part of our nursery family for over 20 years.
  • Enjoy fantastic outdoor spaces where children can explore and learn through play.
  • Be part of a vibrant school community with strong links to our primary and secondary sites.
  • Benefit from opportunities to develop your skills and gain additional qualifications if you wish.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.

Our nursery is open all year, with only three short closure periods: one week at Christmas and two weeks during the summer.

If you’re caring, reliable, and excited about making a difference to young children’s lives, we would love to hear from you!

This is a permanent, full year opportunity, working 35 hours per week (9am - 5pm) and offers an hourly rate of £12.71 - £13.14 per hour - based on qualification based on qualification.
