About AP EducationAP Education is a specialist Alternative Provision provider supporting children and young people who face barriers to accessing mainstream education.
We deliver personalised, child-centred education to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, autism, ADHD, anxiety, Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA) and other complex needs.
Our approach focuses on building positive relationships, restoring confidence and helping young people re-engage with education through flexible, nurturing and individualised learning.
About the RoleWe are recruiting passionate, experienced and dedicated SEN Tutors to deliver one-to-one education to pupils across Medway, from Key Stage 1 through to Key Stage 4.

As an SEN Tutor, you will plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons tailored to each child's needs, abilities, interests and educational goals.
This is a flexible, term-time-only opportunity. Individual pupil placements typically offer 6-15 hours per week, with the opportunity to take on additional placements and gradually build towards a full-time timetable, subject to availability.
Sessions may take place in pupils' homes, community settings or other suitable learning environments.
