Our client, a well-established division of a leading international company, is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join their expert team specialising in diesel-powered machinery across the UK.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of a wide range of diesel-powered machinery. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering high-quality preventative maintenance, servicing, installation, and repair services.

• Carry out comprehensive preventative maintenance on various diesel-powered machines
• Perform routine servicing, maintenance, installation, and repair
• Conduct fault diagnosis and rectification of engine, alternator, and control systems
• Generate detailed service reports and liaise with contract managers and head office
• Adhere to the company’s health and safety, quality, and environmental policies
• Complete risk assessments and participate in the on-call rota

• Background in servicing and maintaining diesel engines, alternators, and/or controls
• Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles
• Strong diagnostic abilities and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to health and safety, quality, and environmental policies
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external interactions
• Full UK driving licence (ECS or other industry certification desirable)

• Competitive salary range of £35,000 to £45,000, depending on experience
