Job Title:Engineering Manager

Location:Rochester, Kent

Salary:£70,000 + Bonus

An Excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Engineering Manager to work for a blue chip multi national FMCG manufacturing company based near Rochester Kent. The Engineering Manager will be responsible for managing and leading a team of 8-10 multi skilled engineers in a very fast paced production factory. The role will 80% management and 20% hands on and the ideal candidate needs to have very strong man management and leadership skills.

There would be career progression available into senior Management roles for the right candidate.

Sector
– Manufacturing / FMCG

• Previous experience leading an engineering department within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong electrical and mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams.
• Minimum Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent).

• Previous experience within FMCG and process manufacturing
• Experience leading engineering projects and capital investment programmes.
• Knowledge of high-speed industrial manufacturing equiptment
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance systems and engineering compliance.
