Electrical Engineer

Immediate start available in Rochester for an experienced Electrical Engineer on a 1-2 week temporary assignment. Hands-on role involving machine modifications, control panel building, electrical and mechanical assembly, and safety system upgrades. Competitive hourly rate and varied project work.

Temporary Assignment | 1-2 Weeks

• Modifying existing machinery, including mounting, drilling and fitting electrical components such as switches
• Building electrical control cabinets from component level
• Wiring and assembling electrical and mechanical systems
• Installing new safety systems and upgrading existing equipment
• Supporting machinery modifications and improvement projects
• Carrying out testing and fault finding where required
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard

• Previous experience within an electrical engineering, panel wiring or machine build environment
• Must have experience working on FMCG machinery
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Strong electrical assembly and wiring skills
• Practical mechanical fitting experience
• Knowledge of industrial safety systems
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Available to start immediately
