You will also engage in social activities, trips, and events within the care home. What is required from you?

  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
  • 36 hours per week to include working alternative weekends
  • 12 hour day shift from 8am to 8pm

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

  • Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
  • Personal care - supporting with wash, bath or shower and dressing and oral care.
  • Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
  • Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
  • Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
  • Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
  • Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.

Person Specification Qualifications
  • A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK is required. You will be working 36 hours per week, including alternative weekends, with 12-hour day shifts from 8am to 8pm.
