Care Assistant

As a Care Assistant at Agincare Homes Holdings, you will be responsible for providing companionship, personal care, medication support, meal assistance, light cleaning tasks, and mobility support to help residents live as independently as possible. You will also engage in social activities, trips, and events within the care home. What is required from you?

• A minimum of 12 months on your right to work in the UK
• 36 hours per week to include working alternative weekends
• 12 hour day shift from 8am to 8pm

A day in the life of a Care Assistant

• Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement
• Personal care - supporting with wash, bath or shower and dressing and oral care.
• Medication - Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams.
• Meals - Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages.
• Domestic tasks - light cleaning tasks.
• Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
• Social activities - Trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
