The Opportunity

As a Recruitment Consultant, you will take ownership of your own specialist education recruitment desk, managing the complete recruitment lifecycle from business development and client management through to candidate sourcing, placement and aftercare.

This is a sales-focused role where your success is directly rewarded through an industry-leading uncapped commission structure. You'll receive comprehensive training, ongoing coaching and support from experienced recruitment professionals, enabling you to build a profitable desk while becoming an expert within the education sector.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

Proactively identify and secure new business opportunities across Kent and the South East.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, marketing campaigns and outbound sales activity.
Arrange and attend meetings with schools, academy trusts and education providers.
Negotiate terms of business and win exclusive recruitment partnerships.
Develop long-term relationships with decision-makers.

Candidate Attraction & Management

Source outstanding education professionals through job boards, social media, networking, referrals and headhunting.
Conduct competency-based interviews and candidate registrations.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of teachers, teaching assistants and support staff.
Provide interview preparation, CV advice and ongoing career guidance.
Ensure all safeguarding, compliance and referencing requirements are completed.

Client Relationship Management

Become a trusted recruitment partner for your schools.
Gain a detailed understanding of client requirements, school culture and staffing needs.
Offer market insights, salary benchmarking and recruitment advice.
Deliver exceptional customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Resolve any recruitment challenges professionally and efficiently.

Recruitment Delivery

Write engaging job advertisements and recruitment marketing campaigns.
Match suitable candidates to vacancies quickly and effectively.
Coordinate interviews and provide feedback to both clients and candidates.
Negotiate offers and manage placements through to successful onboarding.
Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure compliance with company processes.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for ambitious individuals who enjoy working towards goals and building lasting relationships.

You'll ideally have:

Previous recruitment experience (preferred but not essential).

Experience with in sales, business development, account management or a target-driven environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong negotiation and influencing ability.
Confidence speaking with clients and candidates over the phone and face-to-face.
Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
Resilience, self-motivation and a positive attitude.
A full UK driving licence is advantageous due to client visits.
