Information Technology Specialist

Duties

At the full performance level, serves as an information technology (IT) specialist providing technical and advisory assistance to support the information management needs of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO), Western District of New York. Performs a variety of tasks associated with the day-to-day operations and administration of IT systems within the Office of the United States Attorney. These duties include a wide range of information technology support to meet the USAO information needs using network hardware and software capabilities.

Specifically, assignments encompass the following:

• You must be a U.S. Citizen or National
• Initial appointment is conditioned upon a satisfactory pre-employment adjudication. This includes fingerprint, credit and tax checks, and drug testing. Continued employment is subject to a favorable adjudication of a background investigation
• You must be registered for Selective Service, if applicable
• If selected, you may be required to complete a one year probationary period.
• You must meet all qualification requirements upon the closing date of this announcement.
