Responsibilities- Lead a SOC team and manage security incidents, providing leadership and expertise to guide security operations in monitoring and responding to security events.
- Research and implement proactive measures to protect against cyber-attacks and manage security incidents, developing and implementing a comprehensive cyber resilience strategy aligned with regulation and industry best practices.
- Define objectives, priorities, and metrics to measure Clarion’s resilience to cyber threats and incidents; maintain awareness of emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and trends through threat intelligence sources.
- Utilise and deploy SIEM technologies; work with Azure Security Solutions, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, and Office 365; develop Microsoft Sentinel Kusto queries to support analytics and hunting capabilities.
- Maintain a significant understanding of enterprise Windows security controls, implementations, and architectures.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders; establish procedures and protocols for incident handling, escalation, and coordination within Digital, Data & Technology and wider business stakeholders.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills to understand, analyse, and propose solutions for emerging cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
- Experience leading a Security Operations Centre (SOC) team and managing security incidents.
- Experience with SIEM technologies and Azure security tools (Azure Security Solutions, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Office 365).
- Experience developing queries for Microsoft Sentinel (Kusto) to support analytics and hunting capabilities.
- Strong understanding of enterprise Windows security controls, implementations, and architectures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
