Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Rochester, with opportunities for remote work. The Fire Technician will be responsible for inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of fire safety equipment, such as fire suppression systems and fire extinguishers used in maritime and offshore industries. Key tasks include ensuring life safety compliance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and adhering to company and regulatory standards while maintaining accurate service documentation.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Fire Extinguishers and Fire Suppression Systems
  • Proven understanding of Fire Safety and Life Safety standards and compliance
  • Ability to perform Troubleshooting and resolve technical issues effectively
  • Attention to detail and proficiency in maintaining service documentation
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant certifications in fire safety and firefighting equipment (preferred)
  • Prior experience in maritime or offshore industries is an advantage
