Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is working with a forward-thinking manufacturing business seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical bias. This role would suit a Level 3 qualified, multi-skilled engineer with experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment, who takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, reliability and performance.
The Role- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on heavy industrial plant, machinery and site facilities
- Support preventative maintenance schedules to maximise uptime, performance and product quality
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults while supporting mechanical maintenance where required
- Work safely and collaboratively with production and engineering teams
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
- Play a key role in ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and reliably
- Week 1:
Monday Thursday 6:00am 4:30pm, Friday 6:00am 4:00pm - Week 2:
Monday Thursday 12:00pm 10:00pm, Friday off
This is a 44-hour contract with regular overtime available, paid at time and a half or double time. Many engineers choose to work additional shifts, significantly increasing their annual earnings.
About You- Level 3 qualified Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
- Strong mechanical maintenance capability
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability and quality
- A proactive, hands-on engineer who works well as part of a team
- Basic salary of £43,050 with realistic overtime-enhanced earnings
