Working within the Power Press department, you'll play a key role in setting and operating the machines. With the right drive and ambition, this position even offers the potential to grow into departmental leadership over time!
As a Production Press Setter, you will:
- Set, operate, and adjust a range of production machinery, including rotary table systems and power presses.
- Take ownership of machine performance, ensuring output meets quality and safety standards.
- Use your mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot and resolve issues methodically.
- Work independently while contributing positively to a close-knit production team.
- Support continuous improvement and embrace new skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility, taking on both setting and operating duties as required.
To be considered, you should have:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with production machinery.
- A problem-solving mindset and confidence working without constant supervision.
- Experience with resistance welding or automated welding stations (advantageous, not essential).
- Exposure to stamping/forming tool setup (desirable).
- A willingness to learn and continuously develop your technical skillset.
- A proactive, team-focused approach.
