Technical Sales Advisor
Salary: 30,000 to 35,000
Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic hoses, fittings and associated hydraulic products, supporting customers across a wide range of industrial and engineering applications. The business provides a comprehensive range of products and technical solutions, combining product expertise with a strong focus on customer service and reliable supply.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing technical organisation where you will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, provide product advice and help deliver the right hydraulic solutions for their applications.
Key Responsibilities- Manage customer enquiries via telephone, email, website and live chat, providing professional and timely support.
- Understand customer requirements, provide technical advice and recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Prepare quotations, process orders and follow up enquiries accurately to maximise sales opportunities.
- Develop existing customer relationships while identifying opportunities for new business, upselling and cross-selling.
- Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to source products and ensure orders are fulfilled efficiently.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and support continuous improvement through customer feedback and effective administration.
- Previous experience in technical sales, internal sales, customer service or a similar commercial role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and professional approach to customers and suppliers.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Confident using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, email and other online platforms.
- Commercially aware, numerate and proactive, with strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
- Experience with in hydraulics, pneumatics, engineering or an industrial environment would be advantageous, although not essential.
