Security Officer

Join our team as a Security Officer in Rochester.

Location: Rochester, Kent - ME1 2XX

Hours: 56 hours per week / Shift Times - 7-7 (Days, Nights & Weekends) Pattern 7 on 3 off, 7 on 4 off

Pay: £14.56 per hour

• Patrol and monitor premises to deter and detect security breaches
• Manage access control and verify  staff, visitors, and contractors
• Respond quickly to alarms and emergencies in a calm, effective manner
• Maintain detailed logs and incident reports
• Conduct regular internal and external security checks
• Operate CCTV and other monitoring equipment
• Enforce site‑specific procedures and health & safety regulations
• Support protection of classified materials and sensitive infrastructure
• Liaise with emergency services and site management as needed

• Must be a British citizen by birth, or have held a British passport for at least 5 years
• Hold a valid SIA licence
• Must be able to obtain SC (Security Clearance)
• 5‑year checkable work history is required
• Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
