Machine Driver

UKR Group is looking for an experienced 360 Excavator Driver to start ASAP in a job in Rochester, Kent.

As a 360 Machine Driver, you must be hard working, reliable, and punctual, have good communication skills, and the ability to work alone on your own initiative or as part of a team.

• Operate 360‑degree excavators safely and efficiently to dig, lift, and move materials on construction sites.
• Perform tasks such as trenching, grading, levelling, and demolition.
• Adhere to site safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Conduct pre‑start checks and maintenance on machinery to ensure safe operation.
• Follow all legal and regulatory requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work closely with site managers, supervisors, and other construction team members to achieve project goals.
• Communicate effectively to ensure tasks are completed on time.

• Proven experience operating 360‑degree excavators.
• Familiarity with a variety of buckets and attachments, including grabs, breakers, and compaction plates.
• Understanding of construction site operations, safety protocols, and excavation techniques.
• Strong coordination, precision, and spatial awareness.
• Ability to read and interpret site plans or instructions.
