Residential Support Worker Children’s Residential Care Milton Keynes £14.75–£15.25 per hour 40 hours per week We are recruiting a Residential Support Worker to provide safe, nurturing and child-centred care to children and young people within a children’s residential home . As a Residential Support Worker , you will:
Provide emotional, practical and social support. Safeguard and promote children’s welfare. Follow care plans, risk assessments and behaviour support plans. Support education, activities, life skills and independence. Build positive, trusting relationships. Support positive behaviour, including PBS approaches. Complete records, reports and handovers. Undertake Key Worker responsibilities. Work with families, social workers, schools and other professionals. Support personal care and medication where trained.

Work shifts including evenings, weekends and sleep-ins . About You Level 3 Residential Childcare / Children & Young People qualification, or willingness to work towards. Experience in children’s residential care is desirable. Experience supporting emotional, behavioural or complex needs. Caring, patient and resilient with strong communication skills.
