We are recruiting for an MGV Driver at the Medway Mail Centre, 1 Knight Road, Rochester, ME2 2EE

About the RoleAs a member of our driving team, you will drive, collect bulk mail from major customers and post offices, transport mail between Mail Centres and Delivery offices, load and unload your van, and sort mail for onward distribution.
About YouUpbeat and self-motivated, you enjoy working independently and as part of a team, thrive on flexible shift patterns, and are comfortable working outdoors regardless of weather. A sense of community and a desire to stay fit through walking during rounds are essential. Experience in a customer‑facing role is ideal.
Driving Licence RequirementsA C1 Category licence (current UK address) with fewer than six penalty points is required; a clean licence is preferred. You must hold a valid Periodic Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) and a Drivers Qualification Card (DQC) with 35 hours training, and be able to present your Digital Tachograph Card at assessment.

Pay and BenefitsSalary: £627.91 per week pro rata
Hours of Work: Permanent contract – two duty options:
- Duty 1: 28 hours per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) – various shifts across 24 hrs (early, day, late, night)
- Duty 2: 25 hours per week (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) – various shifts across 24 hrs (early, day, late, night)
