Class 2 Driver – Temp to Perm

Salary: £43,680 per annum + up to £1,300 quarterly bonus

Guaranteed 48 hours per week!
Working Monday to Friday!

We’re currently recruiting Class 2 Drivers for a well-established contract based in Rochester. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, and newly qualified drivers are welcome.

Pay & Bonus

£43,680 basic salary
Up to £1,300 quarterly bonus
(Bonus is performance-based)
Overtime paid only on a 6th shift
Shifts & Working Pattern

Start times between 4am – 6am (own transport required)
Shifts can be up to 12 hours, guaranteed 48 hours per week
Monday to Friday in general
(Contracted as any 5 days from 7 – flexibility required during peak periods to meet business needs)

Role Overview
This is a physically demanding, customer-facing role, delivering kitchens directly to customers’ homes.

Home delivery of kitchens as part of a 2-man crew
Deliveries made to the customer’s room of choice
All deliveries must be completed within the allocated time window
All products must be scanned
Vehicles are pre-loaded overnight – no loading required, only unloading at delivery points
Strong timekeeping and professionalism are essential

Porters will be required to contact customers with ETAs and record delivery information.

Requirements

Valid Class 2 licence
Maximum 6 penalty points
No DD, CU80 or IN endorsements
DBS check required
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
