HGV Class 2 Driver / Drainage Engineer

Salary: £17.15 per hour (≈£37,500+ per annum plus overtime, call‑outs and bonuses)
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, 06:00–18:00 (Days)
We are partnering with a long‑established specialist services organisation to recruit HGV Class 2 Drivers/Drainage Operatives for their expanding operation in the Leicester area. The RoleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver / Drainage Operative, you will support specialist tanker, CCTV and jetting operations across reactive and planned works for a varied customer base. This is a hands‑on, operational role suited to someone reliable, flexible, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
Key responsibilities- Operating HGV Class 2 vehicles for drainage, tanker and specialist services.
- Supporting reactive and planned drainage, jetting and CCTV works.
- Working safely on site and following company procedures and industry regulations.
- Carrying out basic operational tasks and assisting engineers as required.
- Representing the business professionally with customers and stakeholders.
- Completing job paperwork and using specialist technical equipment.
Full training will be provided for candidates who may not have direct drainage experience but hold the relevant driving licence and demonstrate the right attitude.
What we’re looking for- Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Class 1 considered with the right experience).
