Class 2 Night Driver Jobs in Rochester

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver (Category

C) to join a leading logistics company in Rochester on a temp-to-perm basis

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified HGV Class 2 Driver looking for stable night work, competitive pay, and a permanent career opportunity with a global transport and logistics provider.

You'll be responsible for completing multi-drop deliveries of automotive parts to dealerships and trade customers, ensuring all deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.

The Role

As a Class 2 Night Driver, your duties will include:

Multi-drop deliveries of vehicle parts to dealerships and automotive customers.
Completing approximately 12-14 drops per shift.
Delivering within designated postcode areas and planned routes.
Operating your Class 2 vehicle safely and professionally.
Using a pallet truck to unload deliveries where required.
Completing vehicle checks and defect reporting.
Using handheld scanners and electronic delivery systems.
Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point.
Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours and Road Transport regulations.

What We're Looking For

Valid Class 2 (Category

C) HGV Licence
Current Driver CPC Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Newly qualified drivers welcome
No more than 6 penalty points
No DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements
Good understanding of UK road networks
ADR licence desirable but not essential
Reliable, professional and customer-focused
Ability to work independently and manage a busy route
