Looking for a Class 2 Driving Role with Long-Term Career Prospects?

We are currently recruiting for a Class 2 HGV Driver (Category

C) to join a leading logistics and transport company based in Rochester, Kent. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for both experienced and newly qualified drivers looking to build a long-term career within a supportive and growing business.

Working as part of a two-person delivery crew, you will complete multi-drop deliveries and collections while providing outstanding customer service. Full training will be given, including product handling and installation support.

• Completing multi-drop deliveries and collections across customer locations.
• Working alongside a driver’s mate as part of a professional two-person team.
• Delivering and installing specialist products safely and efficiently.
• Conducting daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects.
• Using handheld scanners and completing delivery paperwork accurately.
• Ensuring compliance with Driver Hours, Tachograph and Road Safety regulations.
• Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional company image.

• Valid Class 2 / Category C HGV Licence.
• Current Driver CPC Qualification Card.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
• Newly qualified drivers will be considered.
• No more than 6 penalty points.
• No DD, DR, CD or IN endorsements.
• Good knowledge of UK road networks and driving regulations.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling duties.
• Reliable, professional and customer-focused attitude.

• £15.75 per hour
• Monday to Friday working pattern – weekends free
• 28 days paid holiday (pro rata)
• Full training and ongoing support
• Permanent contract available following successful temporary period
