Class 2 Driver - Nights

We are recruiting for a Class 2 Driver on a temp to perm basis to join our client''s busy transport operation in Rochester. This role involves night-time multidrop deliveries of car parts to dealerships and automotive customers across designated routes, ensuring deliveries are completed safely, efficiently, and on time. Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.

• Complete night-time multidrop deliveries of car parts to dealerships and automotive customers.
• Carry out an average of 12-14 deliveries per day within similar postcode areas.
• Operate your vehicle safely and in line with company and legal requirements.
• Use a pallet truck to unload pallets when a customer forklift operator is unavailable.
• Use handheld scanners and complete delivery paperwork accurately.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure compliance and roadworthiness.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all delivery locations.

• Valid Class 2 (Category
  
  C) HGV licence.
• Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Newly qualified drivers welcome if they show the right attitude and potential.
• No more than 6 penalty points and no DD, DR, IN, or CD endorsements.
• Good knowledge of the UK road network.
• ADR qualification is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, professional, and customer‑focused attitude.
• Ability to work independently and manage a busy delivery schedule.
