As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a dependable Warehouse Operative to join our friendly, close-knit team in Rochester.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position supporting the daily operation of our busy warehouse. You will help ensure customer orders are picked, packed and prepared accurately, safely and efficiently.
Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential. We are particularly interested in applicants who are reliable, hardworking and willing to learn. Counterbalance forklift experience is not required for this position.
Key Responsibilities
* Pick and pack customer orders accurately and efficiently.
* Palletise and prepare goods securely for transport.
* Load goods into company vans ready for delivery.
* Receive and check incoming deliveries against the relevant paperwork.
* Put stock away correctly and assist with stock rotation and stocktaking.
* Report any damaged, missing or incorrectly supplied goods.
* Carry out manual-handling duties safely and follow company health and safety procedures.
* Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised warehouse environment.
* Work closely with colleagues to complete daily workloads and meet dispatch deadlines.

* The ability to carry out the manual-handling requirements of the role safely.
* Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
* The right to work in the UK.
