As a Behavior Technician at Total Spectrum, you’ll help children with autism learn, grow, and build communication, socialization, and self‑help skills through applied behavior analysis (ABA) play‑based therapy.

Responsibilities- Work with children aged 2‑22 with autism and special needs in their homes, schools, or at one of our centers.
- Implement ABA play‑based therapy to teach communication, socialization, and self‑help skills.
- Maintain accurate client records and work collaboratively with a supervising behavior analyst.
- Follow scheduled lesson plans and adapt to individual client needs.
- Part‑time with potential to build to full‑time.
- Hours:
8 am‑7 pm EST Monday‑Friday, with possible weekend and evening work. - Pay:
Starting at $18.00 /hr with potential increase based on experience. - Full‑time employees earn up to 15 days paid time off (PTO) after 90 days of employment; part‑time employees are eligible for sick leave.
- Minimum age 18 and eligibility to work in the United States.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
- Availability for a consistent weekly schedule (morning, afternoon, and/or evening).
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Desirable qualities: genuine desire to help children, compassion, empathy, enthusiasm, kindness, reliability, willingness to learn about autism, ABA.
- Bonus: bilingual (English/Spanish), background in psychology, education, special education, childcare, or related fields; prior childcare experience; interest in behavior analysis or related careers.
Physical tasks may include pushing, pulling, or lifting up to 35 pounds; moving quickly as required. Ability to sit on the floor, stoop, stand, walk, and run is necessary.
