Service Desk Attendants in University Housing create a welcoming environment and act as the central location for exchanging information for students and guests.
Minimum Qualifications and Skills- Must have sophomore, junior, or senior class standing or be a graduate student at Oakland University by fall 2026
- Current cumulative and semester GPA must be 2.5 or higher
- The ability to lift up to 10 pounds on a regular basis for packages and supplies
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families
- Facilitate the check-in/check-out process when residents are moving in and out of their communities
- Provide accurate campus information and assistance to residents and guests
- Sort and deliver mail to residents’ mailboxes
- Sort and handle packages delivered for residents to pick up
- Loan cleaning equipment such as vacuums to residents
- Perform administrative duties necessary for efficient building operation
