Overview
The School of Engineering and Computer Science at Oakland University seeks a Visiting Professor (Engineering Technology) to begin August 15, 2025. The person in this position will create a proposal for a new Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology and carry it through the university’s governance with departmental assistance. The new B.S. in Engineering Technology program aims to be 90 credits and pursue ABET accreditation.
The ideal candidate will have familiarity with engineering technology programs, community colleges, universities, faculty governance procedures, and excellent writing and oral communication skills.
- MS degree in engineering technology, engineering, or a related field.
