• Lead/teach group exercise classes in a variety of formats for recreation center members.
• Design and create class content.
• Provide monitoring of class participants during sessions.
• Implement safety and risk management protocols as necessary.

• Group exercise teaching certification from a nationally recognized organization. Candidates pursuing certification will be considered but certification must be obtained within three months of hiring. Certification must be for the format(s) applied for (for example: Zumba certification, yoga certification, Barre certification, etc.). CPR / First Aid certifications must be obtained upon hiring.

• Prior group exercise teaching experience either in person, virtually, or both.
• Experience teaching a variety of age groups and demographics.
