Join Henry Ford Health Rochester Pharmacy Inpatient team as a Pharmacy Technician Advocate and make an exciting impact on patient care.

Eligible for a $2,500 sign on bonus

Schedule: Part Time - 20 Hours Per Week - Rotating Shift

• Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification.
• Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems.
• Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the Pharmacy department.
• Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds.
• Repackage bulk medications.
• Receive and store incoming supplies.
• Triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information.

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience
• OR Associate's degree/Technical degree
• OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in retail or inpatient setting preferred.

• Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• PTCB certified or nationally certified preferred.
