Arts & Culture Communications & Marketing Coordinator

Oakland University is hiring an Arts & Culture Communications & Marketing Coordinator. The role involves creating and executing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies for the arts department, including content creation, website management, social media oversight, and event promotion to enhance brand recognition and audience engagement.

• Create and implement communication and marketing strategies for the arts at Oakland University.
• Manage content creation, website design/editing, social media platforms, and event promotion.
• Utilize design tools such as Canva, Photoshop, and Capcut; familiarity with Terminal 4, Live Whale, and eTix is desired.
• Annual salary of $55,932.
• Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Fine and Performing Arts, or equivalent experience.
• Requires experience in marketing, brand development, or public relations within the arts.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to multitask across projects and platforms.
• Work collaboratively with multiple units to craft messages and outreach efforts.
• Preferred experience includes video production skills and managing social content calendars.
• Position reports to the Director of School of Music, Theatre and Dance.
