Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in Michigan, requiring a MI RN license and proficiency with CRRT and Cerner.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting

• Patient ratio is 2:1

• Typical patient population includes critically ill adults requiring advanced monitoring and interventions

• Requires experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)

• Uses Cerner electronic medical record system; experience required

• Night shifts, 7pm to 7:30am, with every other weekend required

• Must be available to work at least one holiday during the contract

• Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital as needed

• Responsible for leadership in coordinating and delivering quality compassionate patient care

• Expected to utilize the full nursing process including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

• Must complete online orientation modules onsite prior to start and achieve a passing score

• COVID vaccination is mandatory to work at this facility

• RTO (Requested Time Off) for up to one week is permitted

• Blocked scheduling is not allowed

Requirements

• Active MI RN license required for consideration

• Minimum of 2 years recent ICU experience required

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required

•

Certifications:

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), both AHA only

• Experience with Cerner EMR required
